Job Description

The Assistant Manager at Gami Chicken and Beer supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, handling customer issues, and assisting in achieving sales and operational goals. The Assistant Manager acts as the point of contact in the manager’s absence and helps ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and staff supervision.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure high-quality service.
  • Maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Support in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
  • Assist in implementing promotional campaigns and achieving sales targets.
  • Train new staff and support ongoing professional development of the team.
