Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Cook / Tandoori Cook to prepare delicious Indian and tandoori dishes that reflect the quality and traditions of Maharaja Tandoori Cuisine. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared with consistent taste, presentation, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats, breads (naan, roti) and rice as per recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Operate and maintain the tandoor clay oven safely and skillfully.
  • Measure, mix, and weigh ingredients accurately.
  • Garnish and present dishes attractively before service.
Kitchen Operations
  • Ensure prepared dishes are served on time and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace throughout service.
  • Check ingredient freshness and store food properly.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Teamwork & Support
  • Support other kitchen staff and assist in training new cooks.
  • Work well under pressure during busy hours.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
