Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and compliance with Australian tax laws.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for external audits and ensure all financial records are up to date.
Cost Management: Help monitor and control costs to ensure efficient financial operations.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar financial accounting role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax laws.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
