Job Description

As a Branch Manager at National Australia Bank (NAB), you will be responsible for leading a retail banking branch to achieve its sales, service, and operational goals. You will manage a team of banking professionals, drive customer engagement, ensure compliance with banking policies, and contribute to the overall success of NAB’s retail network.

Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional financial solutions to customers, maintain strong community relationships, and promote a positive and high-performing work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and develop branch staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet business objectives.
  • Sales & Business Growth: Set and achieve branch sales and profitability targets; identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products and services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and business clients; resolve complex customer issues promptly.
  • Operations & Compliance: Ensure branch operations adhere to NAB’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Manage operational and credit risk, ensuring adherence to internal controls and security standards.
  • Reporting: Monitor performance metrics, prepare branch reports, and recommend improvement strategies.
