Job Description

A Dispatch Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the timely dispatch of vehicles, goods, or personnel to ensure efficient operations. The role involves scheduling, monitoring deliveries, and communicating with drivers, clients, and internal teams. A Dispatch Officer ensures that all operational activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule daily deliveries, pickups, and transport routes.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Monitor vehicle movements and delivery status in real-time.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery logs, and dispatch reports.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Resolve dispatch-related issues, delays, or customer complaints promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare reports on dispatch performance, efficiency, and incidents.
