Job Description

Martini & Co is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen operations, ensuring food safety compliance, and supporting a fast-paced restaurant environment while delivering an exceptional dining experience for customers.\\


Requirements

• Certificate III, Certificate IV, and Diploma
• At least 1 year of experience as a Chef in Australia

Duties
  • Planned menus, estimated food and labour costs, and managed the ordering of food supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitored the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation to maintain high standards.
  • Liaised with managers, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team to address food preparation and service requirements.
  • Demonstrated cooking techniques and provided guidance on preparation methods to kitchen staff.
  • Prepared and cooked a wide range of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensured strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Assisted in selecting, training, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance.
  • Managed food storage processes, including freezing and preserving ingredients to minimise waste and maintain quality.
