Job Description

As a Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) at Subway, you will serve as the primary link between the corporate head office and franchise owners. Your role is to guide, support, and improve the performance of Subway restaurants within your assigned territory. You will ensure that franchisees uphold Subway’s brand standards, operational excellence, and profitability goals while fostering strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Franchise Support: Provide operational and business guidance to franchise owners to help them achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Performance Analysis: Review store performance metrics (sales, profitability, customer feedback, and compliance reports).
  • Operational Excellence: Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate store standards, hygiene, and adherence to Subway’s procedures.
  • Training & Development: Support franchisees and their staff with ongoing training and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Marketing & Growth: Assist in executing local marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure franchisees comply with corporate policies, food safety regulations, and brand image requirements.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with franchise owners, acting as their trusted advisor and problem solver.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of retail or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and performance reports.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management tools.
  • Ability to travel regularly within assigned territories.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in multi-unit management, franchise consulting, or retail operations.
  • Prior experience in the food or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
