Job Description

As an HR professional at Indigo Instruction co. pty ltd., you will manage the employee lifecycle, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance processes are smooth and effective. You will support managers and staff, foster a positive work environment, and help the organisation achieve its strategic goals through effective people management.

Depending on seniority, the role can range from HR Officer (operational) to HR Manager (strategic).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment and selection, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Monitor employee performance and support managers in performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and workplace regulations.
  • Facilitate employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and training programs.
  • Manage payroll coordination, leave, and benefits administration.
  • Provide advice to staff and management on HR issues, workplace conflict resolution, and industrial relations.
  • Support organizational development and workforce planning initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Certified Practising HR Professional (CPHRP)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
  • Experience:
  • HR Officer: 1–3 years in HR or related administration roles.
  • HR Manager: 5+ years, preferably in healthcare, disability, or service organizations.
