You’ll work under the guidance of senior architects, contributing creative solutions while gaining hands-on experience in sustainable and innovative design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in concept design, schematic design, and detailed design development.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualizations using CAD and BIM software.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, documentation, and reports for clients.
  • Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and contractors to ensure project delivery.
  • Stay up to date with sustainable design practices and building regulations.
  • Contribute ideas in team workshops and design reviews.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles.
  • Understanding of construction documentation and detailing.
  • Ability to prepare presentation boards and client proposals.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch) from a recognized institution.
  • Work experience through internships or university projects is advantageous.
  • Registration or working towards registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) Victoria is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level.

Benefits

  • Hands-on Experience: Work on real architectural projects from start to finish.
  • Mentorship: Learn from senior architects and design leaders.
  • Professional Development: Opportunities for courses, workshops, and attending design seminars.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Support for work-life balance with flexible hours.
  • Creative Freedom: Contribute your ideas and explore innovative design solutions.
  • Networking: Exposure to clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Recognition & Growth: Opportunity to progress to mid-level architect roles as you gain experience.
