Job Description

At Macro Meat Processing Pty Ltd, we are a leading supplier of premium kangaroo, wild boar, and venison meat products. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced sales and marketing manager to join our team and lead our efforts in expanding our market reach and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the domestic and international markets for our premium meat products.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer preferences, and trends within the meat industry. Analyze competitors and position our products effectively.
  • Brand Management: Develop and enhance the brand image of Macro Meat Processing Pty Ltd in the market, ensuring our values of sustainability and quality are communicated clearly to customers.
  • Lead Generation and Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and food service providers. Identify and target new potential clients to increase sales.
  • Digital and Traditional Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing (SEO, social media, email marketing) and traditional marketing (events, brochures, trade shows).
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure targets are met. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Monitor and report on sales performance, trends, and market conditions. Provide accurate sales forecasts and help set annual sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective delivery of products.
  • Partnerships and Promotions: Manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and promotions to drive brand awareness and product adoption
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong background in the food, meat, or FMCG industries.
  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and increasing market share.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Expertise in both digital marketing and traditional marketing strategies, with a strong understanding of SEO, social media, and content marketing.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership abilities with experience in managing a diverse sales and marketing team.
  • Market Understanding: Deep knowledge of the meat processing industry and an understanding of customer needs and buying behaviors in both domestic and international markets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders and customers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales and market data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to secure long-term contracts and agreements with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
