Job Description

A Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is responsible for monitoring and managing clinical trials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, protocols, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. The CRA acts as a liaison between the sponsor, clinical sites, and regulatory bodies, ensuring high-quality data collection and patient safety throughout the trial process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and SOPs.
  • Verify that data reported by investigators is accurate, complete, and verifiable from source documents.
  • Assist in site selection, initiation, and close-out visits.
  • Maintain effective communication with investigators, site staff, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and submit study-related reports, updates, and documentation to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure patient safety by monitoring adverse events and reporting them appropriately.
  • Support the development and review of clinical trial protocols and informed consent forms.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with investigators and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical data.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and MS Office tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or monitoring is preferred.
  • Certification in Clinical Research (e.g., ACRP, SOCRA) is a plus.
