Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team at our Williams Landing office, responsible for delivering projects across both client-side project management and head contractor construction management functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate labour resources and manage the procurement, scheduling, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, building surveyors, and other construction professionals throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaise with technical teams, site supervisors, and trade contractors to ensure efficient and accurate execution of works
  • Negotiate with building owners, property developers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare and assist with tender submissions, subcontractor packages, and contract proposals
  • Develop, manage, and implement coordinated construction programs across multiple project sites
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building legislation, Australian Standards, OH&S requirements, and quality assurance standards
  • Coordinate and manage the submission of plans, approvals, and required documentation with local councils and regulatory authorities
  • Monitor, review, and report on construction progress, cost management, and quality performance
  • Oversee contractor workmanship and project progress in a client-facing Project Manager role
  • Manage and assess subcontractor performance and quality in a Head Contractor / Construction Manager capacity
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a construction or project management role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, codes, and construction methodologies
  • Proven experience coordinating consultants, contractors, and trade teams
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction scheduling/programming software
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
