Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
Lead, supervise, motivate, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Recruit, train, roster, and monitor employee performance.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and achieve store targets.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering, and maintain accurate stock control.
Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and store presentation meets company standards.
Oversee pricing, promotions, and seasonal product displays to maximise sales opportunities.
Manage store budgets, monitor operating expenses, and prepare performance reports.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
Monitor security procedures to minimise stock loss and maintain store assets.
Liaise with suppliers and senior management regarding stock availability and business operations.
Analyse sales trends and recommend strategies to improve business performance.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business, Management or a related field
At least one year of relevant retail management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing retail store operations.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
Sound financial and budgeting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high operational standards.
Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
